This was OUT OF THIS WORLD 🪐💥 Monkey Head mushroom was spot on for texture,

the outside was crispy and coated with this buttery sauce (idk how they do this) and resembles the salted egg fried chicken dish that I used to have at zichar stalls in the past! I have no idea how they make this sauce but it’s the bomb! This was the true MVP for the night 👍🏻 Recommended by the owner and so thankful she let us try this!

This was clearly the star dish and chef's special. Huge lion mane mushrooms, perfectly fried

to super crispy perfection.
And that butter sauce, oooouuuhhhhhh, not too rich, sweetish n tasty.
Absolutely brilliant dish!

I was quite impressed this was vegan. I asked the server twice if this was

really vegan, and she explained that there is no milk, and coconut milk was used to create the buttery sauce. I liked how you bite through the mushroom and there's a slight nice crisp on the outside, but the teeth quickly find a soft chewy texture to slice through. The buttery sauce didnt have a coconut flavour and was just mildly sweet. Nice~~~

Not sure if this dish is vegan

because of the butter. It was not possible to have the dish without butter but I’d decided to still order it as I was curious to how the lion’s mane mushroom would taste in this dish.

Overall well executed dish, it was however too buttery for my partner’s liking.

Portion size is alright, on the smaller side. This restaurant is designed like a cafe so we felt that the pricing is a little higher than what one would expect. Prices on menu doesn’t include GST.
