I put it in my oven for too long and it got a tad burnt. The chick’n itself tasted like the usual mock meat but the sauce was flavourful and delicious! Can’t find Southeast Asian flavours as such in the packaged food space here.
Did not enjoy this one, simply toooo much bbq sauce. I prefer their “one night in Bangkok”. Also I wish they would let us have the option of beyond meat too.
They got mala as a seasonal flavour. Would recommend their Original White Beehoon(veganised) with chilli padi instead of this if you happen to be there.
I added chilli oil($1.50) but it’s still a bit too bland for my liking. But I was really happy to see 2 vegan options!
This tasted fresher than any other curries I’ve tried. Not heavy but maintained the fragrance. Came with organic brown rice.
If you are looking for something fresh this is the dish to go for. More umami than a salad bowl with the seaweed and mushrooms and the rice fills. All ingredients were very fresh I think that was the trick. But I preferred more
The texture of the “chicken” was great, the taste was good too. But the rice was a tad hard for my liking. I prefer this over the full of msg kind
It caught my attention only because I don’t know many yakitori places that have many veg options. The sauce was quite flavourful but could be salty for some, there was also the burnt taste that was infused into the mushrooms more
I didn’t like the hotpot overall it always leaves me very thirsty but this dish from the buffet was delicious and the first i’ve tried. The way it is made is perfect for cooking it yourself.
It feels hot and fresh from the bbq. Also the portion is generous. It maybe lacked a bit of that otah spice and flavour. For veg otahs I think the guys from circuit road food centre are doing the best job so far
