VEGAN

Biona

Anyone also a hardcore fan of Trader Joe’s jackfruit curry? I found this on Redmart hoping it’d be a similar sub as I’m missing Trader Joe’s too much!Unfortunately this is not the same but oh well!! 🙈It’s still nice and more

Finally made it here for the abillion SG number 1 vegan food 😝 and I can totally see why now! Love the broth, noodles, and the shredded “chicken” (are they tofu skin?? Haha I’d really like to know if anyone knows)

We’re so happy to chance upon this Chinese vegetarian place after our booster vaccine at the community club. This is their herbal soup which is slow cooked with many different herbal ingredients such as dates, lotus seed, more

Spoon for scale haha always awesome to get served a massive dosa like this. Its like a crisp rolled up crepe. Savory and nice with these really flavorful sauces

Great to see so many vegan options on the menu here! I got the Coffee Vanilla Float which was made with soy milk and vegan vanilla ice cream. Definitely a good Sunday treat despite the lack of sun! 🌞

HOW IT WORKS - newer model of plane engines or those that use biofuel are far more sustainable. Shorter routes and better passenger seat plan can also help making your flight more fuel efficient. Google Flights takes all more

vivalaviolet What is it about it that they determine that makes it more sustainable? It takes a more efficient route? 1 likeReply
fayeli Yes! That’s one of the factors, and they also consider how fuel efficient the aircraft itself is. Just like eco-cars, newer model of planes are often made more aerodynamic, and their engine burn fuel for more mileage. The seating plan also matters (how many economy vs premium and the space they take) Because you’d be sharing the total carbon emission with the rest of the passenger (:1 likeReply
fayeli EDIT: upon further research, looks like Google flights doesn’t consider bio sustainable fuel in their algorithm yet! And they say that they are still working on getting it up to date with the new Covid flying situation. With that said, though this may not be 100% accurate atm, I still like that it’s an easy, consumer friendly way to start considering this when travelling 😇1 likeReply
jeanne-marie That’s still really cool though, progress is being made - I had no idea this even existed! So, thank you for mentioning this as your hack 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻2 likesReply

It’s a warm hearty lentil dish ☺️ I love that it’s topped with plenty of greens, fresh herbs (cilantro, mint, dill! All my favs) and refreshing radish/tomatoes.

Best dhal I’ve ever had! I’m so happy that it’s non spicy, and made from scratch from farm fresh veggies. Can’t get enough of this lovely farm to table place! Be sure to check out their garden too. It’s sooooo cute
