jeanne-marie Right? I was very surprised to see a macadamia-based cheese range considering how expensive those nuts are. Did not see this range coming 😅 but it’s not cheap, these products are definitely more expensive than most of the other vegan cheeses I’ve seen in my area. And you definitely taste macadamias in this cream cheese - so I’m glad their branding is on the honest side. 1 likeReply

theg0at616 Not too bad! I would shell out for that for special occasions like Christmas. I reckon it'd be fire with some crackers and fig preserve. Did you happen to notice how the Simple Truth brand of dairy free cream cheese/spread was R29,99, then it disappeared from shelves for a few months and has now reappeared at R59,99? Lmao, I refuse. Out of principal I absolutely refuse to pay that much. That's robbery at that point. 😂 Also it's nice, but it's extremely plain and not made with macadamias or cashews as far as I know. There was another brand at Spar, can't recall the name, but it was a much larger tub of incredibly creamy salty delicious cashew cream cheese for R70 odd. Much more worth it. My policy is that I will pay top dollar (or ZAR lol) for nut based cheese, but don't come at me with overpriced coconut oil based cheeses and expect people to pay overly expensive prices just because it's labeled a vegan. Your omitting the dairy, you're literally adding LESS so why am I paying more 😂 ok my rant is over 1 likeReply

theg0at616 If I don't find this at our Woolies I'm really gonna complain 😂 in the time I've been vegan I have yet to find decent vegan stuff at any of the Woolies in my area (3 ones I've visited frequently and am disappointed everytime). I can't find Fauxmage anywhere either. I asked the Spar I go to who used to order it to order again, they did once, I bought a lot and then they never got again. So ridiculous. I just want a variety of cheese the same as everyone else has with cow cheese 🙄 one animal, 50+ cheeses. 50+ ways to make vegan cheese, and zero options. 3 likesReply
