Finally a vegan Croissant worth RAVING about. But ofcourse it was going to be Jason Bakery nailing it. AMAZING
Turned these into the BEST sausage rolls. Will definitely get them again - very much like boerewors!
Texture and flavour is ok - I prefer the prime beef burger to be honest.
I recommend this for baking - quite a distinctive taste when using it as a spread, but works well in many bakes, and it's super cheap
Maybe my expectations were just too high. Sorry - I have to say it looks and tastes like dirty pond water. I doubled checked the date on it I couldn't take more than one sip. Like my friend will say - "shame" 😭 Maybe they more
These were good - I would say they are more like a pimped up hash brown. We got this from the convenience store at the garage where we live, which is a step forward as I didn't expect to find anything vegan products here
It's ok I guess - a very subtle flavoured water, but refreshing non the less. The mango one is great
As with most seitan this needs lots of flavour pumped into it either via marinating and a sauce - or both! Worked very well thinly cut and stir fried with veg & noodles
A good medium firm tofu that worked well pan fried in cubes for a "egg" fried rice dish. Packet comes with two blocks which is handy
Yum!!! Really enjoyed this - big enough to share too. A bit cakey rather than flakey, - as you would expect from a vegan "laminated pastry" but it didn't bother me - it's great!
