Burgers disintegrate quite easily in frying pan, making an excellent mince substitute. Sauté with herbs,

onions, and tomato passata, and serve with pasta. Also makes good chili senza carne. Soya free. #stellenbosch

All the veggies in this are the ones I tend to avoid and it was

a thoughtful purchase from my dad so I tried it out. I was shocked at how much I loved these honestly. Sooo good. Great price too. @woolworthssa thank you for the constant variety

I really enjoy the Woolies burger patties, particularly that they are not attempting to be

“meaty” in any way.

They are a little bland, in my honest opinion, but I like to add a variety of sauces and toppings to my burgers anyway, so it doesn’t bother me.

They freeze well, too, making it easy to keep them on hand for when the burger mood strikes 🍔

I remember the first time I tried this patty. It was at my friend’s house

more than 10 years ago and I thought it was so novel as my house was very meat-centric. I’ve enjoyed it ever since and am so pleased it’s such a mainstay on Woolworths’ shelves. I crisped it up in the oven with some sweet potato chips today and popped it on a vegan burger bun for lunch. A win!
