You know what they say about looks being fleeting? That’s how I felt about this pizza! It was beautifully presented but really odd. First, it had “caper berries” with the hard stem attached. Caper berries are not anything like capers and don’t taste like capers. They taste like really bad olives. Not sure why they included the stems here, because we had to pick each one off and detach the stem. They left the stems on the tomatoes too! Two, the sauce had very little taste. When you’re making a pizza like this it’s all about the sauce and it’s got to be great! Unfortunately not the case here. I was happy about the Happy Hour, which included two bottles of Menabrea for S$15 which is a great deal! I’d go back for the beers 🍻 but not this pizza! #hajilane #singapore #pizzafabbrica
