These were amazing, I loved them. Very tasty and great texture. We enjoyed them with some vegan brioche and cashew cheese. We just pan fried them and they turned out great. They were originally $13 for just two crab cakes, so they’re very expensive from the store we bought them from, which is not permanently closed. But, we got them half off so it wasn’t so bad. Okay, these are so good! We cooked them up from frozen in a pan with some #oliveoil. They came out superb! The flavor and texture were both on point and these paired wonderfully with a creamy vegan #cheese and some #brioche bread. If it weren’t for the price tag, I would be running to buy more!
These were just ok .. I am so spoiled with the #vegancrabcake #wholefoods used to make .. I haven’t found them in years .. so I keep searching for the perfect #crabcake .. I may have to break down and make my own . .. lol They did well in the #airfryer but were a little dry .. some homemade tartar sauce did the trick .. I never had non-vegan crab cakes so I cannot attest to the similarities, but I can state that these were pretty tasty and definitively fishy! I don’t get creeped out by meat dupes often but these were so fishy they were a little eyebrow raising. The texture was great; the sides got nice and crispy and the inside was tender. I was lucky to grab these for only $.99 when Sprouts was clearing them out. I wish I had purchased more than one pack! They are no longer sold anywhere near me, but it appears as they typically go for $12-15 online which is way out of my budget. I do think folks who really enjoyed seafood would be satisfied with these. #veganseafood #mindblown #womanownedbusiness
I have this problem where I want vegan substitudes BUT I do not want them to be too close to the real thing 🤣 It freaks me out. This is one of those instances. For sure a good product but too "fishy" for me. It very has similar taste and texture to what I remeber crab cakes were like. #mindblown #crabcakes #veganseafood
