beckyyy There are many but one of my favorites is The Food Empowerment Project. They are an amazing vegan non-profit that centers human rights (along with animal rights) in food production systems. I’ve learned so much for them and appreciate all of their education as well as efforts to support marginalized agricultural workers. Unfortunately there is violence and injustice in several levels of our food systems and FEP makes the connection to them and raises awareness.

sofihuasteca Hoja Nueva. They a conservation and animal rescue center in the Peruvian Amazon. They use revolutionary rehab practices to re-wild local jungle fauna to be released back into their native habitat where under normal conditions they would not be. Think Jaguar, ocelot and margay from zoos or kept as pets. Through their rigorous release program and strict criteria, animals have a chance at a wild life again. Those animals that are trully not releasble (blind cats, etc), get to live out their days in a pristine jungle habitata built just for them at the Hoja Nueva Sanctuary. Hoja Nueva is revolutionizing and questioning all that people thought about the ability to re-wild fauna and giving so many animals a chance to live in the jungle again. Hoja Nueva also runs conservation programs woth other species and does increcible research in local fauna and conservation practices (publishing papers as well).

sofihuasteca The Street Dog Coalition (SDC), is a United States based national organization. SDC provides veterinary care for pets of people at risk, or experiencing homelessess. They run free vetererinary clinics in 62 teams across the US, offering vaccinations, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, deworming and spaying and neutering at partner clinics. SDC believes in a One Health approach, where they bring people together from different sectors and organizations to provide complete care for their clients and pets (having human doctors, dentists, social workers available to those who need them). SDC is a stepping stone to housing in many situations as many clients cannot get into housing without a fully vaccinated pet.

lil-chickpea I love donating to all but if I have to be specific I would like to keep supporting Black Sheep Sanctuary. I also like to donate to a cause that helps humans in a vegan way, such as the Lviv Vegan Kitchen. Our causes have not been subsidized for months… couldn't you distribute the aid fairly?
Better little for everyone than to leave some with nothing, right?
I would like my reviews to go back to support the associations I love such as Rifugio Miletta or Santuario Capra Libera Tutti.
They work tirelessly to ensure a free life for abused or exploited animals or, as in the case of Rifugio Miletta, wild animals.
They need our help 🙏🏼

rednecveg By far, Shadow's Fund, so much more than a sanctuary located in Lompoc, CA. Their approach to rescue, rehabilitation, and education is beyond what I have ever seen with additional programs like Bright Beginnings for puppy training and Kennels to Couches helping pet families in need. The sanctuary itself is an incredible home run by an amazing husband/wife team and incredible volunteers. veronicagroen I miss SAFE farm animal Sanctury from Quebec. I support #weanimals that have a huge fight on hand in Quebec with Juditiary trying to stop awareness on the slaughter of pigs, if anybody is aware of #weanimals they will appreciate a sanctury like SAFE. I would love to see them return to the list we can support. #freedomfarm in Israel also disappeared, which has been featured on Vegan Fta a few times, I am also a huge supporter of them and would love to see them back. Offcourse locally my favourite is #ashersfarmsanctuary and #pigsnpaws . I think to spread the #abillion awareness message, it is important to have a footprint worldwide and to support sanctuaries that are under stress. The #soidogfoundation is also a non-profit fighting worldwide for all animals. Some other non-profits I support locally, #bananimaltrading #EMS Foundation and #fourpaws, all of them fighting wild life trades and for the end of animal suffering, as well as advocating for environmental causes.1 likeReply

Nel 2024 saranno obbligati a trasferirsi e stanno raccogliendo fondi per comprare un fantastico terreno con già presenti strutture per gli animali. sandraz AGRIPUNK, a big animal shelter based in Tuscany, Italy, that is doing an amazing and hard work by converting an old big factory farm into an animal sanctuary, saving a lot of animals from death and trying to change the whole community mind about the animals right to live free, including the wild ones.
And the other one I really love is another animal shelter, smaller but very important for our region, RIFUGIO IL BOSCO DI MORGANA. based in a little village near the Carnic Alps, in Italy. A little paradise in the woods for the animals. They live free and the owner does everything by herself, she's also an artist and sometimes she rise the money she needs for the shelter by selling her art or doing some performances.
