This taco salad is epic!! It’s huge and has kalw, romaine, #tempeh, tortilla chips, jicama, beans, corn, seeds and #avocado plus even more assorted veg. It’s very interesting and filling and vegan by default, despite this being an omni restaurant. Many omnis order this without realising it’s vegan! Love it. #tacos #salad 🌮

This is one of my fave places to eat in Houston. The menu items are seasonal (as indicated by the name) and always lean plant-based. There will be vegan options in every category of food which is so rare for around here. This soup itself was hearty without being too heavy. I added a bit of fresh pepper/flaky salt to liven it up but would order it again. #houstonvegan #quinoa #butternutsquash

This vegan ceasar is good, but not my favorite option at Local Foods. While all the ingredients are fresh and tasty, I just don’t find it that filling. Adding a side of tofu is possible but makes the whole dish expensive. #houstonvegan #salad 🥬

My family split this jumbo cupcake 4 ways as it is very large! Long story short, we thought it was just OK. The cake itself had a decent amount carrot, but still tasted plain. Maybe it needed more spice? The icing was sweet and helped add flavour. Mixed reviews from my family about the texture but personally I thought it was fine. Not a fan of the plastic, especially because we ate in the restaurant! #cake #carrot #houstonvegan 🥕🥕

This was vegan without any modifications - I couldn’t believe it! Contrary to popular belief, hot chocolate in mexico is not typically spicy from chilis, but from cinnamon and warm spices. This mexican hot chocolate had a lovely cinnamon flavour. It was made with oat milk and very rich. I’m pretty sure the toasted marshmallows on top were dandies brand and not homemade, but I still enjoyed this. Not 100% sure it was worth the $6 to me but still super fun and festive. #hotchocolate #houstonvegan #sweettooth ☕️

Love, love, love this!! You can make any sandwich into a salad, and request the bahn mi vegan, so I did both! It was such a satisfying salad - very large and rich with a variety of textures. The tofu was tasty and the veg all very fresh. I didn’t use the vegan aioli as I didn’t think it needed it. Highly recommend this restaurant for their vegan options. #houstonvegan #tofulover #salad 👍

I’ve never seen vegan gumbo in a restaurant before so was excited to try this! I found the flavour to be closer to red beans & rice, but I like that too so no issue for me. I would have it again.
