Mexican Hot Chocolate at Local Foods Upper Kirby — amanda's Review (Dec 29, 2023)

This was vegan without any modifications - I couldn’t believe it! Contrary to popular belief, hot chocolate in mexico is not typically spicy from chilis, but from cinnamon and warm spices. This mexican hot chocolate had a lovely cinnamon flavour. It was made with oat milk and very rich. I’m pretty sure the toasted marshmallows on top were dandies brand and not homemade, but I still enjoyed this. Not 100% sure it was worth the $6 to me but still super fun and festive. #hotchocolate #houstonvegan #sweettooth ☕️
