This isn't something I'd normally pick for myself, so I'm glad it was ordered when I visited Francis with my family. These fries are tossed in buffalo sauce, have little slices of celery, and topped with a drizzle of ranch. These are a super yummy appetizer. The buffalo sauce is great but not overwhelmingly spicy. I'm not the biggest celery fan, but it works here! This was a perfect brunch cocktail for a hot day. The orange juice in this made it like a screwdriver so it was acceptable as a morning cocktail. The passionfruit and coconut gave it a delicious tropical twist. The serrano tequila gave this drink a nice lingering burn that I really enjoyed. Francis usually garnishes their drink with dried fruit or glitter, so I was surprised to see this one was a bit plain! I picked this as a side for my breakfast sandwich. It was going to be over 90°F that day but I still wanted to go on a short bike ride to the park later. I didn't want to be overstuffed, so I went with the greens. This slaw has the traditional cabbage as well as brussels sprouts and kohlrabi. The dressing was pretty light. I unfortunately didn't taste much mustard. This is a nice smaller breakfast sandwich at Francis. Instead of a burger patty, it has some vegan ham and a hashbrown! It also has JUST Egg, Chao cheese, and spicy mustard. I love English muffins, so I really enjoy that it was served on that instead of a bun. Although I love Francis's buns, they can be a bit heavy for the morning. The Juicy Lucy is a Minnesotan classic. It's a burger patty stuffed with cheese... Very Midwestern! I had never had one before going vegan! J Selby's and Francis has had a vegan version of this burger on their menu throughout the years. It's such a good classic burger. At Francis, you can choose to get it with a black bean patty or an Impossible Foods patty. I usually go for the black bean patties here because they're just so good. This burger comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and pub sauce on a buttery brioche bun. You really can't go wrong with such a simple dish like Caesar salad, but of course Francis knows how to zhuzh it up! This salad is made up of chopped romaine tossed in creamy Caesar dressing with house bacon, roasted broccoli, fried capers, pickled radish, pumpernickel croutons, and parmesan. Adding the broccoli was a smart move.
