All vegan Chinese street-side restaurant in Chinatown Singapore (at least everything on buffet and menu was vegan that day). It says vegetarian restaurant but I found no animal products listed in ingredients. This satay skewers was the first thing we ordered off the al a carte menu, good portion, a bit dry and made with tofu/soy. Comes with a tasty peanut satay dip.
The satay was made using tender soy meat chunks; definitely not tofu as some reviewers have previously suggested. Served with cut cucumber. The peanut sauce was quite runny and oily, lacking a strong nutty fragrance; personally would have preferred a thicker and richer peanut paste. (Allium-free, $8 / Small) #sgvegan #organic
Satay with peanut sauce! Crisp but juicy soft on the inside, I could eat these every day!
Nice texture, and tasty together with peanut sauce. Overall very enjoyable.
Its just fried tofu on a stick but its fine by me, comes with a huge portion of peanut sauce, super yummy #veganisnotscary
