came for the chicken rice but they only serve that on sundays. glad i tried this though - springy noodles, nice mock char siew and flavourful ‘pork crackling’ (beancurd sheets). the mock meatballs were a bit dense but still more
have only used this a few times but am already in love with it - i spend a few minutes massaging the oil into my face (most therapeutic step of my skincare routine) and it leaves my skin free of make up and sooo soft because more
great breaded tindle and very flavourful curry sauce. love the purple cabbage and the mango salsa to balance it out
love the cauliflower, tahini and spring onion combo. pita was a bit soft but probably because i did takeaway.
enjoyed being able to try a variety of empress’ plant-based dishes and it was pretty good value for what we got. my fave was the sweet and sour ‘pork’ and the dimsum.
love the crunch of the tempura and the thinly sliced avocados. agedashi tofu was delish as well.
first time having vegan ramen, beyond making it at home! soup was flavourful and the ‘pork’ pieces were pretty realistic. (sushi pictured isn’t vegan)
good charsiewbao substitute - fluffy bun, pretty on-point sauce. basically looked like the real thing but meat texture wasn’t really there though.
the tofunaki was the highlight of the meal - lovely mix of textures.
these fried potatoes were so more-ish!! couldn’t stop reaching for these. basically tater tots with an addictive seasoning. love the fresh crunch of the peppers as well.
