AFFILIAZEN aims to create a bridge between free animal shelters and the younger generation. The educational project is a unique opportunity to educate the younger generation about the care and respect of animals and the environment. The proposed activities will enrich children's knowledge, help develop #empathy, responsibility and a sense of belonging to #nature 🌿🥰
This project has the potential to create a lasting positive impact on both participants and the community as a whole, promoting a more sustainable and compassionate future! 🙏🏻💚
Children will participate in guided tours at the Shelters, where they can get up close and personal with rescued animals and hear their stories. These tours will be led by experienced volunteers who will explain the importance of the shelter and the work that is done for animal welfare:
🌿 Feeding and care - learning how to feed animals according to nature and take care of their needs
🐾 Interaction and respect - spending time observing the animals, making contact with those of them who would like to be pampered, with complete respect for the needs and freedom of the animals in the shelter.
💚 Animal protection to understand how to live responsibly and respect animals!

The importance of developing empathy and sensitivity: children who interact with animals learn to recognize and respond to their needs, fostering a sense of responsibility, sensitivity and care! In this sense, antispeciesism refuses to treat nonhuman beings differently for reasons related to the absence of species bonds. This means that every animal, regardless of its species, race or condition, deserves the same respect!
The animals welcomed in these places come from the most disparate, difficult and dramatic situations: such as intensive breeding, but also from "family" situations where they are inflicted ill-treatment, violence and unsustainable conditions. Shelters are run by volunteers who are dedicated to caring for and helping animals, providing them with food, water, veterinary care and a safe environment.
At AFFILIAZEN we are committed to supporting these precious realities! Veganism is an ethical philosophy, a choice of life and not a dietary one. Veganism is an ethical philosophy focused on treating nonhuman animals with consideration and moral respect.
Much of the misunderstanding about what veganism is comes from the mistaken belief that it is only a narrow and extreme diet, unfortunately lately it is also seen as a fad, a vice. Veganism is so strongly associated with food because food is the greatest source of animal suffering, cruelty, and death we participate in - however, being vegan covers many areas of human life, not "just" food 🌿🌾🍎🍐🥑�🍝🥠🍫
Adopting vegan ethics means opposing with one’s daily and conscious choices the commercialization and exploitation of animals for human purposes and believing in the intrinsic value and rights of all sentient beings.
Being vegan means caring about the environment as a whole and therefore adopting a plant-based diet to reduce the environmental impact of animal farming.
Moreover, there is no doubt that a vegan diet is excellent for the environment and for our well-being, but at the heart of veganism lies not human health, but the alignment of our morals and actions when it comes to animals.
When we become aware that our choices can really bring about a positive and important change, no action is extreme or difficult. For us at AFFILIAZEN, paying attention to our sustainable choices is the only right thing to do.

antonellaboschi Per me essere vegana significa avere quella sensibilità che ti fa rispettare tutte le forme di vita e non solo… la stessa sensibilità che mi fa provare empatia verso gli altri, mi fa provare sofferenza per chi soffre e mi fa arrabbiare di fronte alle ingiustizie…
