#misopaste is such a versatile ingredient for vegan dishes - this time I used it to make a ramen dish 😊. Usually I use it in sauces to imitate a strong "cured cheese" taste. Made of just a few ingredients: water, #soy, #rice, #salt and ethyl alcohol and nutritionally ok except for the high salt content.
It comes in a reusable jar but unfortunately it is made in China - quite a carbon footprint all the way to the Canary Islands. I found this version at #lidl during Japanese week for 2,39€.
