Casado Bowl at 101 Beer Kitchen — edav334's Review (May 7, 2024)

This was a pretty good vegan offering at 101 Beer Kitchen. I wasn't super excited by the description, but it was the only vegan entree. Luckily, I was pleasantly surprised. The #blackbeans and #turmeric #rice had a good flavor with the hot pepper sauce, and the #cherrytomatoes added a little sweetness. The #plantains were absolutely amazing, though their flavor didn't really mix well with the #riceandbeans. They had an amazing caramelized coating and were sweet and soft. I ate them separately after the rice and beans as a kind of dessert 😅 This was a good amount of food for only $12.50, and was actually less than the non vegan entrees which was great! Overall I was pleased I had a good option to eat when out with Omni friends
