Review of Bihun Goreng Bodo at Hijau Kuala Lumpur by dafnelately
The name “bihun goreng bodo” literally means “stupid fried bee hoon” and there’s actually an interesting history to it. The bodoh here, meaning stupid, refers to how one would “bodoh-bodoh” or stupidly fry the #beehoon anyhow they’d like. It’s kind of like how instant noodles and ramen came to be? You’d usually throw f*** all in there and call it a meal and sometimes literally just bee hoon and some kicap / #soysauce 🫣 Hah, takda ramuan nak anok bihun ya jadi bodoh pulak pelik kan diorang dulu2 😂 Instead of just soy sauce, the noodles is cooked in a base of #oystersauce and #sambal too! Agave I know this is a #queerowned restaurant but do we really ought to be this extra? 😜 Mixed with the #noodles is a whole tonne of kailan, #taugeh, peanuts 🥜, & #scrambledtofu 🐣 Actually, as I’m writing this I’m thinking of how @m1tch9i also remarks my “simple” noodles as still being super extra 🤭 ..minus the #tofuscramble of course cause I’m a protein deficient no #tofu eating b*tch 😴 jk i’m trying to get my life together i been upping my protein intake and literally got myself protein powder so i can consume myself some unsolicited protein we love a nutritional balanced queen 👏👏 RM15 for this huuuggeee serving is a win for me and not at all a ridiculous ask for the setting, I can’t believe I’m actually pinning this bee hoon dish of all things as one of their #bestpicks 🙌 #malaysianeats #centipedesofabv
