THERE WAS A PIECE OF PLASTIC (maybe multiple) in my fish filets!!! I bit into it, felt something hard on my tooth, ignored it and thought it was a weird texture thing (my first time having this). Was put off as EACH BITE had a hard piece. Towards the end, I almost cracked my tooth and decided to pull it out of my mouth and see what it was. IT WAS A HARD, THIN PIECE OF PLASTIC!?? Which means the things I swallowed earlier were probably plastic. Great.

It is easy to do in the oven, can be a meal or a tasty snack. Definitely a good choice for vegan kids. Adding a sauce as vegan maionese gets even better!
These were soooo good. I didn’t mean to eat all three, but I couldn’t stop myself, lol. Topped them off with some vegan mayo and fresh lemon juice. Yum. My justified excuse is that I have not eaten all day. At 420 mg of sodium per fillet, that’s the only downfall.
I absolutely love these. These are made out of jackfruit which gives them the perfect texture and consistency which is spot on. Didn’t need any seasoning just gave it a squeeze of lemon. I baked them this time, I have also tried them in the air fryer which is slightly better just because the breading gets crispier. #veganisnotscary #veganisdelicious #plantbased
I've seen so many people raving about these so I had to pick them up even though in my pre-vegan days I was never a fan of eating fish. I don't have much to compare to, but I do think these fillets look the part! I was surprised how big they were! I guess I thought they'd be more like fish sticks. There are three in a box. The batter is really delicious. The "meat" is made with king oyster mushrooms and jackfruit, allowing this to be gluten free as well! I thought the inside was good. The texture is a bit mushy, but somewhat what I imagined to be fish-like. The first time I tried them I made a sandwich with Primal Kitchen mayo and spinach. The second time I just had one as finger food with Field + Farmer hon'y mustard (maybe not a traditional combo but I just love hon'y mustard). The only downside to these is they feel a bit oily and I ended up feeling a bit gross both times after eating them. I know fish tends to be an oily protein, so maybe it's for accuracy.
