definitely feels like a treat shortbread is great, crumbly and buttery and sweet chocolate layer sugar forward without much cocoa flavour going on, decadent consistency though caramel is good

Lazy Days were one of the original companies who produced vegan and gluten free sweet treats in the UK. It used to be difficult to get them, but nowadays they’re everywhere. I’m grateful for the #veganrevolution that’s occurred especially for them, My friend bought me these and I left them lying around till we came over to Felixstowe (to her place, using it while she’s away), and we decided to munch them after swimming last night. Apart from the fact the chocolate had melted a lot (we have a rare heatwave here 🌞) they were delicious 😋 15/08/2024
Didn’t enjoy the texture of the shortbread which I found lacking flavour as well. The caramel layer was pretty good. Not impressed with the packaging however, the plastic was quite excessive.
I’ve reviewed the Lazyday brand before and as always, delighted to see a product celebrating the fact that it’s vegan and gluten-free. I like the mix of crumbly shortbread with a topping of gloopy caramel. It is also described as having a crisp dark Belgian chocolate lid but that didn’t really stand out from the caramel for me. I think the shortbread is too dry and there’s not quite enough topping to compensate for that. Mind you, one was enough to satisfy the desire for some sweetness after dinner. I have a bit of a bug bear about the amount of plastic casing around the 5 little blocks. I’m sure they could design a way of protecting the pieces without such excess plastic. I would probably get them again as they do have a hint of luxury about them without any harm to animals. #ditchdairy #shortbread #goveganfortheanimals
the name says it all. it's a lazy day. 🌧️ i walked a few minutes to this delightful store in town, spent an hour talking to the owner and kept seeing things i 'needed', such as these #cookies. they are delicious. #sweettooth approved with light #shortbread covered in #caramel topped with chocolate. sadly, this single-serve (5 cookies) container is #deathbyplastic (foto 5). now what to do? 😁
