Shiitake mushroom balls in tomato paste. Pretty similar to generic Chinese-style mushroom mock meat so

I personally wasn't such a fan of the taste. However it also came with tomato sauce which made it very convenient for adding to pasta for a quick meal! $8.80 / 300g on FairPrice; also available on Redmart and Shopee. First time trying Hoshay products. Convenient food. Fuss free to heat it up. Have it

on its own or over pasta or mash potatoes. Seasoning was just right, not too salty. Made with shiitake mushrooms. Purchased from NTUC Online.

This seems to be a new plant-based brand. Meatball is huge, about the size of

1 -1.5 of a golf ball. I really didn’t like the chewy tough meat-like texture and coarse rough exterior but that could just be my absolute personal distaste for mock meat 😣 Family members seemed to have not much issues w it and even recommended me to try… so I suppose this would still be suited for omnivores looking to go plant-based.
Tomato sauce was quite ok for me! Like decent spaghetti sauce. 🍝
This is part of their quick grab n go product range, you just need to heat this in microwave for 3min

these in microwave otherwise can buy them frozen. I like these mushroom meatballs, the chewiness are from shrooms and not gluten/fillers! The tomato sauce is sweet, I added to pasta. Very convenient!

Its $9 now and I'm not sure I'm willing to shell out that sum for

6 #mushroom #meatballs smothered in #ketchup (previously 1 for 1 at $10).

Texture's on point with good chew in the form of stalks and shreds. All good cept for price point
