This is a vegan version of a Portuguese blood sausage called morcela that @colphax and
I picked up in Lisbon. We cooked it in a pan and ate it with some soft tofu scramble and buttered toast. It tasted pretty good. A little soft on the inside, and was crispy on the outside from being pan fried. The flavor was like corizo, so I enjoyed that. Overall, not my favorite sausage, but I definitely enjoyed it, and it’s hard for me to say if it is anything like non-vegan morcela because I’ve never had it or any blood sausage. It sure looks like blood sausage. Would recommend. Two stars on presentation because of multiple layers of plastic for packaging.
