These little donuts have shown up in Maui grocery stores for the first time this summer. I put them in the refrigerator at work, and they make great midday snacks. And the amazing bonus is that they are high in protein and low in sugar. Most important, they are cruelty-free treats. #mauivegan #glutenfree
Alright I'll admit it, sometimes I miss those little Hostess snacks like mini donuts, Chocodiles, cupcakes etc etc. These Drumroll vanilla donuts definitely fill that void. Very delicious, sweet frosting, and excellent cake texture. I hope I can find the other flavors of these! 🍩
When I see that a #vegan bakery item is higher #protein and #glutenfree, I assume there may be some texture challenges. Not the case here! The texture is so not dry and chewy and soft. Really I wasn't expecting a lot here, but these are one of my new favorite road trip snacks. So tasty and fun!
These are ok! They have a different texture from a donut but they still satisfy my craving! The texture is a bit mushy and it’s lightly sweet which I like. I would recommend for a low sugar high protein dessert!
