@mrsgarg is on a quest to find the best #sichuan jelly noodles in Singapore 🇸🇬 and these might be it! I was so surprised by all the fresh toppings that the folks at Old Chengdu put on all the vegetarian dishes. It makes for a really beautiful dish that’s also absolutely delicious. For those of us that haven’t tried cold bean jelly noodles, they come in all shapes and sizes and usually they’re really messy to eat because the noodles are pretty “fragile” and fall apart. Overall these noodles were slightly stronger than the ones they use at Si Wei Mao Cai on Mosque Street, so I’d definitely recommend these more! Check out Old Chengdu if you haven’t been. I’ve been really blown away by the vegan options! Just be sure to tell them to make everything vegetarian!
I love finding naturally vegan gems like this! Chilled, spicy and slurpy, this dish hit all the spots — thanks @jashment for ordering 😋 p.s. I do not recommend wearing a white shirt while eating this 👀 #abillionturns3
Yummy! The noodles are made from the same beans as green beans.
This is a naturally vegan dish! It's like a sort of cold noodle, though it didn't come chilled. Just room temperature. The peanuts were yummy. And it wasn't that spicy despite how oily red it looked! The sauce was actually a little sweet.
This was an interesting dish to say the least. Is it a noodle or a slice of something something 🤷🏽♀️ It was slightly numbing but also chewy and is defo an experience. Would recommend any of the stuff I had here tbh! Day 18 #veganisnotscary
