Soup brimming with spinach-infused green mee hoon kueh noodles, organic leafy greens and shredded carrot, chunks of fried soy fish, as well as fried seaweed chips. So impressed to see a dish with vegetable-infused noodles and organic vegetables at such a reasonable price! Very flavourful and one of the healthiest dishes in the menu, albeit still with fried ingredients. Personally would have preferred not to have the fried seaweed chips or to have it served on the side instead, as it got soggy very fast in the soup. Would love to have more dishes in the menu with vegetable-infused noodles, like pumpkin noodles, etc. (Allium-free, $7) #sgvegan #organic
I'm not a big fan of mee hoon kueh but somehow I felt like having it when I saw it on the menu. And I did not regret it at all. In fact, it is the best mee hoon kueh I've had by far. The kueh is neither too thick nor chewy and the soup went very well with it. Will definitely have it again!
The only thing I didn't really like about this dish was the gingery soup, everything else was great. I loved the texture of the mee hoon kueh, and that they were really generous with seaweed and crunchy stuff.
Looks like a mess but it tastes soo much better than it looks haha. Hand made thick green spinach kway with lots of soy and mock meat ingredients. Best part is the soup, really savoury and gingery. Ate it twice in a row HAHAHA
