Yum yum!!! I read a great review about this and decided to get it. The

rice is slightly flavoured nicely yay! Comes with greens on the side (I don't really like these but I'm ok). There are two pieces of mock fish with delicious sambal chilli with nice taste and texture. Spicy but not too spicy. With the mock fish there is also a veggie it tasted like finely sliced cabbage so more nutrients yay! I would have liked more fish in proportion to the rice cos I usually take lots of ingredients and not so much rice but it was still enjoyable regardless. The food from here is tasty and healthy and not too expensive (I think this cost $6.80) #veganin2020

31/30: OMG this is super tasty! Texture of the sambal baked fish is really similar

to the real deal. So soft and well-flavoured with a kick of spiciness. $6 #veganisnotscary

The ‘fish’ tasted just like the fried dory fish fillet I used to eat as

an omni kid, with the smooth & flaky insides oh my 😲 The mildly spicy, super flavourful assam-like sauce was amazing too!! Thank you @meowmeowfuzzyface for sharing abt this place on IG stories 😋 #abillionturns3

The 'fish' in this dish was actually tofu slices. The tofu was nice and soft

on the inside, but had a slightly crispy skin. These really went well with the sauce, which generously covered and complemented the tofu and tomato slices - natural sweetness from the tomato, a savoury, flavourful and mildly spicy sauce, soaked into the soft tender tofu flesh and crisp skin. The added xiao bai cai at the side helped bring a little balance to the strong tastes of the sauce too. You have your savoury and flavourful mains, your greens, tomatoes and much needed citric acid from the lime given! A satisfying dish to indulge your taste buds and a nutritious treat to your body!

in d spirit of a no meat monday, this was really quite delicious.

they use tofu

for d fish, baked together with d sambal spice, and d spice was very thoughtfully mixed. i cld actually taste d spices d lemongrass d chilli garlic onions and whatever beautiful flavours they put in d mix.

the veges tht was baked together got a bit soggy tho, but d rice was nicely cooked. n thrs bakchoy n sm soy sauce as well for sm crunchy bites n a squeeze of lime too..

only thing missing-i wish they gv some side soup with it. heh..

Super flavourful assam ‘fish’ baked with a banana leaf ($6.80) 🐟🍌

Their signature sauce is a

harmonious, strong-tasting blend of sweet, spicy, tangy & savoury, which goes really well with the ‘fish’ that’s crisp in the outside and soft, moist and flaky on the inside. There’s also a lime for you to add been more tanginess to the dish! 🍋😋

Wow! The baked fish was really good! Love the sambal. There’s shredded cabbage beneath the

baked fish. Good size portion. Would return.

Generous amount of sambal on 2-3 slices of mock fish made of soybean skin. The

fish was baked on some cabbage and tomato which were very tasty and soft. The sambal was very good, right level of tang and flavour. There were bits of texture in it which I am not sure what mock bits but very nice. Taste of the rice and side veggies were so so but I appreciate that veggies were provided.

I enjoyed this but I probably would've enjoyed it more if they used another veggie,

not fond of this one and there was a lot of it. The fish was nicely flavoured and there were 2 slices. Nice sambal chilli that was pretty spicy so I took a long time to eat, that coupled with the veggie. There's a bit of cabbage beneath the fish which is nice. Rice is slightly flavoured. Pretty fragrant meal for $6.80.

This was so damn good!!!! The sambal that the fish was cooked with was absolutely

flavourful, which complemented the light flavours of the rice and veggies! I’ve missed fish so much since going vegan, and this definitely hit the spot!!!
