Vegan Mini Taro Tarts ❤️❤️❤️ Thankful my Vegan friend who bought this specially

for my bday picnic 🥳🥳🥳 We got a happy day together!
Love the tarts 😍😍😍 super super yummy!
The “Orh Nee” got a perfect sweetness and the crust was so good 😃 100% fresh Taro paste with a gingko🤣

It's a wholly vegan café!! Everything about this tart was fantastic. Level of sweetness, nice

texture and creaminess of the taro paste, crust was also tasty and all rounds up delectably! A tart like this cost $5.

Pricey imo at $4.50 (takeaway) / $4.95 (dine-in) but they use quality ingredients! The taro

paste was v minimally sweet & the tart had a fragrant whole wheat taste and a subtle butteriness that reminded me of old-school butter crackers :) #sgtarts #taro

Orh Nee, a teochew dessert made with yam paste garnished with gingko nuts, is one

of my favorite desserts. I enjoyed this rendition of Orh Nee in a tart @ Lilac Oak. Yam paste was delicate and refined, with just the right amount of sweetness. Matcha oat latte was good too!

I was really excited for this as I'm a huge taro fan, and also a

huge fan of tarts. I liked that the taro filling was not too sweet, it hit the spot nicely. my only qualm was the pastry.. I expected it to be thicker, and more dense, a bit more like a pie, but instead it was very light and crumbly. I'm sure lots of people love this kind of crumbly pastry, it's just down to personal preference but I prefer the other kind. there was also a hell of a lot of taro filling as the pastry was so thin so overall it was a lot of taro and quite filling, needed a bit more balance in my opinion

Truly happy to have tried this. Creamy yam paste with minimal sugar. I believe no

oil (unlike the traditional orh nee). Gingko nut is my personal love~ The tart is strong enough to hold the yam, but soft enough to bite through in harmony with the yam without too much dry crumbs around. I think it would be cool to explore a pumpkin mix, or even a... sweet potato tart. 🥰

Taro paste is SO SMOOTH & thick & not too sweet allowing us to appreciate

the natural taste of yam. Idk if it's just me but there's a hint of coconut taste which makes the paste creamier & I like it tho. Topped with a ginkgo nut, it's like a less sweet orh nee in a buttery, biscuity tart! 😋

The Taro Orh Nee was creamy and sweet, not as oily as Orh Nee would

usually be, with a buttery light base. This is so much healthier. They’re so good I obviously had to take away some back home!

Buttery tart shells filled with fresh taro paste, topped with a golden ginkgo nut. Felt

quit light and clean, might not be thick or rich enough for hardcore orh nee fans. ($4.50)

Absolute delight.. so so yums. Best vegan tart I’ve tasted.. can’t wait to try their

Pulot Hitam tart.. 😋

Must try..
