I can never bring myself to order a #japanesecurry dish with #noodles over rice so

I was grateful for the circumstances afforded to be in a large group 😆

#udonnoodles were really the only way to go on this one 😋 A thick #noodle for a #thicc #curry 😝 The perfectly soft bounce is experienced in every slurp! Don’t eat this with a white shirt though 😅 The #carrot and #potato chunks were doing what they were meant to. One to sweeten and one to thicken. To the #hericiummushroomđŸ«Ą I thank for its perfectly pull-apart texture 😜 #japanese #curries truly are a league of their own. UGGHH!! So goooodd
and #dairyfree 😉

$13 seems like a lot but the portion is generous, and the heaviness is more than enough to fill up 1 stomach 😛

My stomach began growling as I was writing this review đŸ€€

YUMMY. Soft, chewy udon noodles. Very jelak because of the thick curry and noodles. It’s

not really jap curry, but more like a Chinese/Indian curry. So good though????

“If you didn’t tell me this was Japanese curry, I would’ve liked it more” 📝

That pretty much sums up my experience with this #curryudon too. Those were my friend’s words, not mine. At least it means this #udonnoodles is #omnivoreapproved đŸŒ± The #curry doesn’t quite taste like #japanesecurry, more so like something you’d get at a mamak 😅 It’s missing that sweeter undertone! The choice of #fakemeat is pretty lack-luster too, but I suppose I’ve forgotten what the omnivore versions usually come with too. It’s not a total rip off at S$13, but I just know I can get much better #japanesefood just across the border https://www.abillion.com/restaurants/timur-laut-supe-vegan-georgetown-branch-10011241

Curry udon (can't remember if it was Katsu Curry Udon) was a week bit salty

but overall it was a very tasty dish with a good portion of chewy udon noodles, plenty of gravy and chick'n cutlet pieces. It left me wanting for more! #crfsg

The mock meat was yummy. Noodles were flavourful. Too many potatoes in the curry though.

Extremely thick, heavy and rich curry. Great portion size. They charge for water which you may need with the dish!

Thick udon in sweet curry packed with carrots, potatoes, and soy meat chunks (not fried

katsu cutlet). Quite tasty! ($13)

Well well... after so many post then I realise I can post multiple photos. Anyway

love their curry udon. Ho jiak. And the skewers sticks did blew my bum off my seat a lil. It’s so tasty juicy but a lil dry so I asked for some teriyaki sauce to dip in and it became perfect. đŸ‘©đŸ»â€đŸł

Not my favourite. A little like Katsu curry but it didn't hit the spot for

me! It tastes like a a bunch of curry powder cooked with coconut milk. I was missing some fresh/fragrant ingredients to cut through the spices.

Love it! Arguably doesn't taste like Japanese curry but more southeast Asian influence. Nevertheless it's

a delicious dish and something I will wanna try again and again.
