Had our team lunch / xmas celebration here. Started off strong with this eggplant dish.
It's crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and covered with this amazing mushroom floss. Can't believe this is mushroom!
My 300th review is going to be a combination of two of my favourite things
- eggplant and mushroom! Love the floss and the eggplant was nicely fried on the outside while still being soft on the inside. Would have had the whole plate for myself if I didn’t have to share it with the rest 🌚
This dish came first, what a great way to kickstart our brunch buffet! Parents were
impressed by how the eggplant could be handled this way, and the floss got them intrigued too. Shouted across the room to my sis to order this too (social distancing, had to sit different tables) 😋😋
The mushroom soy floss was really interesting and I've never had anything like that! There
were also some pieces of deep fried oyster mushroom but they were so dry they kind of tasted like they were freeze dried so I much preferred the eggplant.
The floss mixed with curry leaves kinda reminded me of cereal prawn! Eggplant was fried
to a perfect crisp on the outside but still remained soft and not mushy inside. Just how I like it!
