I wanted to try a plant based okonomiyaki (Japanese savoury pancake) and found this place

though the happy cow app. It's a cool/funky place and a one woman show! You can pick 5 vegetables for your okonomiyaki; I had green onion, carrot, eggplant, okra and Asparagus.

The vegan cheese tasted amazing and I would definately recommend. The flour used is okara (soybean pulp) and not wheat, which is a cool way of incorporating some protein.

I should note that this is NOT a traditional okonomiyaki, but it is certainly tasty nonetheless. The resto name is also a bit misleading as it sounds like it is vegan/vegetarian but they actually serve meat as well. It is a bit of a self serve vibe as well - you order and go sit, and she calls out your order number. Drinks are self serve as well.

This time I got the medium size with different vegetables, pretty good! The potatoes were

a little undercooked, but it was a very busy night

Absolutely delicious vegan okonomiyaki, served by a super nice girl who runs this izakaya on

her own. I went back 3 times 👌✌️

Essential Osaka food, vegan okonomiyaki. The izakaya is run by a very nice young and

energetic woman, and the whole place has an amazingly cozy vibe. The small (S) is enough for one person, the M being quite large. Drinks 180 yen self service.

Super tasty, chewy and full of umami. Its not a full vegan place, however they

do provide a vegan version of their Okonomiyaki where you can choose 5 toppings out of the ingredients they offered. The pancake batter is gluten free too as its made out of okara instead of the usual flour. Owner understand what vegan is and the place has a very nice quirky vibe. Highly recommmended! #plantbasedjapan

The okonomiyaki (some sort of japanese pancake) with their special vegan-gluten free batter with tons

of cabbage is soo good and taste healthy. also you can choose 5 toppings for your okonomiyaki
The cafe itself is so lovely and the staff is the true definition of “Kawaii”, she is so positive and so happy to serve despite working solo as a waiter and the cook.
Will definitely comeback again.

First off, i was very surprised with the size of their okonomiyaki - really good

value for ¥! It was delicious and they even have eggless mayo. You have to choose 5 vegetables and i like that they were all still crunchy. The okonomiyaki was baked so it wasn’t greasy at all. The staff were super friendly! Highly recommend when youre in Osaka. Easy to find too - good spot after shopping in Shinsaibashi!

El staff fue super amigable y tenían un menú en inglés. El lugar es muy

pequeño pero bonito. El okonimiyaki tenía muy buen sabor y la porción es muy grande ^^ #veganin2020

Dinner here was not a meal, it was a whole experience. Let me explain: this

is an okonomiyaki restaurant, with a full vegan menu, and a great reputation that brought me here. The restaurant is on the different floors: you order on the ground floor, where the lovely owner takes your order and then prepares it, and in the meantime you can go upstairs and look for a table, then she calls you back through a PA system when the food is ready. The owner is truly lovely and has filled the place with colors and fun, and also many signs explaining her story: she used to have some staff, but it was more expensive and the waiting times were still the same, so she decided to continue the operation by herself, and she kindly asks the guests to clean after themselves when they leave, to facilitate her job. Moreover, while you queue to enter the restaurant and also when you’re sitting at the table you can go fill yourself a glass of beer for only ¥200, that’s incredibly cheap! I had a great night here, made some friends (that beer might have helped) and will forever carry this experience with me 🥰
