Not bad at all actually, I rather enjoyed this 🙂 A heaping of #whiterice with a generously portioned medley of 3 #fakemeat options piled on top 😋 There was the standard #mockcharsiew in a #sweettooth friendly sauce, and the equally standard #deepfried #yuba thing that does double duty in both #vegetariangoose and #roastchicken (or duck, you get my drift 🫠). The really unusual one though, was this thing that had the cross-sectional cut of squid but tasted like something completely different 🤨 Not entirely sure that one worked. What did I pay for this? Just RM12 (excluding delivery) 😉

Nah something just feels missing 😕 The #tofu cubes were decent, with the soft white fluffy stuff nicely enveloped in a tasty layer of skin, but then the rest of it could've been better. The sauce looked like it carried a fair amount of #sweetchilli but in truth the flavour was a bit flatter than that 😬 The accompanying vegetables (#capsicum #tomato) didn't add much, and I remain steadfast in my view that #pineapple only belongs in dessert 🥲

A delicious, fragrant #friedrice with an incredible #wokhei - cue the rest of the office piping in with their typical "omg so good for something vegan" comments, as if somehow vegan grub is supposed to be bad 🙄 They were not stingy with the #seaweed, entire sheets were thrown in and fried up, so you get that #umami flavour in big doses (others give you merely tiny shreds sprinkled on top 🥺) #carrot #chives #longbeans and a tiny amount of #fakemeat complete the greasy set 😋

#brinjal with #mincedmeat and #pickledradish. And lots and lots of #evilweed 😡 Thank god they only sprinkled it on top; otherwise, with a cut so fine, disinfection would've been an impossible task 😏 But I remember cracking open the container and catching a whiff of what to me smells worse than death ☠️ Not forgiven. It's a huge serving of #aubergine. Would've been a shame for sure if I'd had to throw the lot out because of the coriander. And the flavour is really nice, slightly sweet in that braised pork sort of way. And everything was cooked just right so the textures really worked 🙂

Haha this one is all bark and no bite, it looks angry and fiery but in truth is only very mildly #spicy 😅 There are #redchilli slices and whatever but they fade into the background and it's the #lemongrass and #celery that you taste the most. Reasonable take on a #kamheong; the #veganprawn and the #okra are a good pairing. Perhaps the most distinctive feature? The obscene amount of grease and oil that you find beneath the layer of everything 😁 #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease

Man, this stuff 🤤🤤🤤🤤 #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease I could eat this veggie #goose every day of the year ☺️ The #soyskin is #deepfried to a #goldenbrown and left reeking of oil in all its glory ☺️ This was a massive portion as well (RM13 so kind of expected), I had it with my lunch and took the rest home to have with my dinner. There were a few sprigs of the #evilweed left on top, but the contaminants were easy to separate from the good stuff, so not too much of a complaint from me 😏

Surprisingly good 😃 And so generously condimented for something that cost only RM10, there was so much good stuff in it, from the #cabbage to the julienned #carrot, and from the #blackfungus to the #yuba and the #soy #fakemeat 😋 My only gripe is that they could've achieved far more wok hei and flavour considering the amount of oil and grease they threw into the dish; the #beehoon has barely been discoloured! 🥺

I was merely looking for a side dish because I had rightly predicted that the noodles that I was ordering would be just all veggie and boring 😏 But I should have realised that at RM15 I was going to get a monster portion of these #wanton 🤭 I had enough to take home for two dinners; you know what, reheated in my toaster oven these turned out even crunchier and nicer! 😋 #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease I also came to like the #plumsauce, even if I found the sourness and intensity a bit overpowering at first 😅

I thought this was pretty good value for RM11, a respectable amount of crispy #noodles accompanied by three types of #mushroom, all delicious (#shiitake, #shimeji, and #buttonmushroom), some vegetables, and a gloriously savoury herbal soup 😋 Though it is a bit #deathbyplastic because they deliver the soup in a separate plastic pouch in order to preserve the freshness of the noodles 😅 Found in the eggless section of their menu.

The big #tofu cubes had excellent texture both inside and outside, but the massive letdown here was the unannounced #coriander 😡🤮 Frankly, I'd rather eat laundry powder, or carboxylic acid, than coriander 😷 They didn't even just sprinkle it over the top, they used the leaves to line the top surface of the tofu before layering the #veganfloss and sauce *above* the bloody thing 😒

Not the most fragrant #friedrice dish you'll find in KL, but then I don't know what #hakka fried rice is meant to be so I don't exactly have a reference point 😕 RM10 for such a huge serving (#carbsforlife 💪💪) is good value though, especially when it comes with a decent amount of ingredients: #carrot strips; chopped #longbeans; fried #veganfloss; fake #charsiew; #shiitake #mushroom bits; and a side serving of chilli in soy sauce which I forwent in favour of my garlic chilli oil 😉 Ordered on GrabFood and delivered in a plastic single-use container thingy ☹️
