Based on the traditional “mapu-tofu” sichuan dish, they nailed the breezy flavours. Should have been spicier, and I think they foresook the original greesy sloppy mess for the modern aesthetic cube . Didn’t come with rice (!) which is weird , but I just ordered some

Omg I completely forgot to post this!! Fat Choi is one of the best vegan restaurants I’ve tried (I seriously need to go back there soon!!) however it kills me to admit that this dessert was just not for me, I think the texture itself bugged me a little…

This was without a doubt the best bao I’ve ever had, maybe even one of my favourite bites of food I’ve ever had. The bun was incredibly fluffy and soft, the seitan filling was sweet and sticky, the mayo sauce was rich and creamy, the lettuce gave it a little crunch and the pickles cut through the savouriness. So simple and yet so delicious. My cousin said she images this is what Krabby Patties tasted like😂 And, this is my 1000th review!! What a perfect way to reach 1000.

This 20 ingredient salad was a knockout! So many different textures and flavours, it was crispy and bright and so fresh! The dressing was nutty and sweet, went perfectly with the ingredients.

Wow!! This restaurant is incredible. This eggplant mapo was soooo yummy. Perfect eggplant, with a substitution pork that tasted so meaty. Very impressed.

I just had an incredible -unplanned- dinner. We literally came to this place because we didn’t make a reservation in the initial restaurant we wanted to go and BOY OH BOY I was happy we got here! Another miss from Fat Choi. I was sooooo excited to eat this meal in particular, and it was almost inedible. Looking at the other pics on the app of this dish, it looks really good. I don't know what happened. It was SO greasy that I felt sick and it didn't taste like anything except for oil. Again, must be better in person and fresh, not through take out...

Their website describes them as: Organic black oyster mushrooms, rempah spice batter, sambal mayo. They weren't great for take out, as when I opened them at home, they were all wet from the stem and mushy. I baked them to get the crisp back, but they were SO greasy and not much flavour and there weren't very much for $13. The sauce was good. I encourage you to not get this.

We are addicted to these Bao!! Grilled seitan in some kind of sweet/tangy/salty sauce with lettuce, vegan mayo and daikon radish (i think) in a pillowy soft Bao. oooh heavenly good....

This bao had amazing flavour, highly recommend! Only downside is that it’s not enough!! Very light and on the pricey side, but I would order it again and again!
