This is a delicious vegan version of the traditional Filipino stew: vegan chicken marinated in

coconut vinegar, soy sauce, bay leaves, black pepper, carrots, garlic, and onions over a bed of short grain brown rice with peppered tomatoes and calamansi citrus dressing. This dish is so good! I always try other things when I go to Ichiza,

but the adobo bowl is my tried-and-true consistent dish. Even during a pandemic their presentation and quality is on point. And I’m stoked that the to-go containers are reusable.
