#vegan #porkbelly #banhmi 🚫🙅‍♀️ I've never eaten non-vegan pork belly and I can't imagine ever doing that especially now that I've been fortunate enough to cuddle with a few rescued pigs! 🐖🐖 I don't know what pork belly is supposed to taste like but this vegan version was really good! Even better than I expected. There were lots of flavors and textures in this sandwich and the vegan pork belly itself was very impressive. Crispy and delicious! This sandwich consists of vegan roasted pork belly, #cucumber, #pickled carrots & #daikon, #jalapeno and #cilantro all on a #vietnamese #baguette.  It comes with a delicious sauce and vegan Vietnamese coleslaw #veganisnotscary #veganin2024 #portland #portlandveganeats #pdxvegan #veganporkbelly

Banh Mi Up’s Vegan Roasted Pork Belly is superb. It is perfectly crisp and tender all at once. I always order the Vegan Roasted Pork Belly Vermicelli dish, but I decided to switch it up and order the Banh Mi. The sandwich is made with a Vietnamese baguette, and consists of vegan roasted pork belly (bean curd, coconut milk, tapioca starch, baguette), cucumber, pickled carrots & daikon, jalapeños, and cilantro. They serve a delicious cashew sauce on the side, along with a generous vegan Vietnamese coleslaw. I would definitely recommend this Banh Mi if you’re not in the mood for vermicelli noodles. #supportlocal #portlandveganeats #vietnamese #vietnamesecuisine #banhmiup #banhmi
