Two non-beef patties special sauce lettuce cheese pickles onions on a sesame-seed bun. F-yeah.

Walking into Broxton you don’t really know what to make of it. The first building erected in Westwood in 1929, you are immediately more

Disneyland...where all your dreams come true...unless your dream is to find a great (or really just a serviceable) vegan pizza. If this is your dream, it seems it will go up in flames in a manner as terrifying and sad as more

r3ddrag0n Sorry to hear about this. Hopefully one day every restaurant and dinner will have at least one YUMMY vegan option. Reply
socalpops @r3ddrag0n I go often, and it’s getting better every time.Reply
bandita I had a similar experience at Disney World last month. I had read reviews from other vegans how vegan-friendly Disney is so I was so excited. Like you, every corner was meat and dairy laden food with no vegan options. At a pizza joint, they offered a vegan cheese pizza but wouldn’t even allow veggies on it, saying that some people might be allergic to certain veggies so they cannot prepare them with the non dairy cheese! And at the more expensive dining, I’d be handed an allergy menu with the name of each dish on the buffet line with a chart showing what’s in what! The whole dining experience of my four days there was ridiculous. Not only disappointed with them, but with fellow vegans who are complacent with the bare minimum. If everyone was that way, we wouldn’t have all the wonderful vegan products and services we have today. Reply

When I pass a restaurant, and it looks like the kind of place I want to be for a nice evening dinner while on business...quality exterior, thoughtfully designed signage, inviting outdoor seating, cute string lighting and more

I had visions of heat, acid, tongue-tickling spice and tonsil-squeezing sear. I had thoughts of Johnny Cash serenading me with soul and song, and warmth of a Nashville night cascading over my slightly perspired neckline more

As my bearded, t-shirt-clad server brought the dish to my communal table on a warm Dallas evening, I was instantly taken back to my carnivorous upbringing with the scent of sweet bbq sauce and the vision of what could easily more

Surprisingly excellent. Never thought of sauerkraut on a pizza, but it added a welcome tanginess and nice texture to the usual mush that is vegan pie. Sausage could have had more kick but was a nice compliment to the overall more
