I'm always done for a good charcuterie. What really made this one special was the giardiniera! I thought it was so delicious with the vegan meats and cheeses from the Herbivorous Butcher. The Linguiça made a comeback from the last wine dinner here which focused on Portuguese cuisine. The rosemary focaccia was a great vehicle for all of these great flavors. I love that it soaked up the giardiniera brine really well too. I was surprised by how well it went with the wine as well! Such a strong flavor such as giardiniera can be hard to pair with a wine, especially red wine!
