A vegan staple at any wine bar! @jonok and I enjoyed snacking on these on New Year's Eve while we enjoyed part of our evening at this new hi-fi wine bar. The audio system was amazing and it had a really cool vibe! I'm excited to go back.
The olives seem similar to castelvetrano olives. They had a nice firm texture and a mild but salty flavor. They're topped with lemon peel to give it a nice fresh taste. We had them with red wine (Montepulciano d'Abruzzo from Francesco Cirelli), but most of the food here is definitely better paired with white. These olives come on their own without bread. I think it's be great if these were served with bread alongside oil and balsamic vinegar.
