Review of Togarashi Wagiri - Tokai by kyu

I like keeping this ingredient on hand to spice up my cooking — both the flavor and the presentation! It’s moderately #spicy togarashi #chili peppers that have been #dried and sliced into small, glossy rings (they sell whole peppers, too, but I prefer this style.) They can be quickly fried in oil to impart a kick to your dishes or sprinkled atop as an attractive garnish. I could also see them being a fun addition to baked goods! #peppers

A pretty good and affordable ingredient — a little goes a long way, and I think it really elevates any dish it’s added to. This bag was $2.39 from Nijiya #japanese market.
