Papas Arrugadas Con Mojo Verde Y Rojo at Tasca El Muelle Viejo - Restaurante Garachico — Daniel's Review (Apr 21, 2024)

This Canarian dish of #papasarrugadas ("wrinkled" potatoes) is a staple in most restaurants and a savior for visiting vegans! These little #newpotaotes were boiled to perfection, with a delicate salt crust over the skin. They are traditionally served with #mojopicon (smoky, red pepper based) and #mojoverde (green, cilantro based) for dipping. The sauces were good but not the best I have had. There are a few other vegan options on the menu, we ordered this to make sure we filled out the meal.

Reservations are recommended at this bustling, friendly (and tiny!) eatery. The views of our table were out to one of the original streets in this village that has previously been awarded as one of the prettiest in Spain.
