Review of Vegan Hete Bliksem at Thuus. by helena12345

Hete bliksem is the flemish version of Shepherds pie. It’s basically the same, but you add applesauce. It is absolutely delectable, one of my favorite dishes ever 🤤🤤🤤 This restaurant, apart from price, definitely ranks very high. They have a decent amount of vegan options (unfortunately not all vegan 🙁). But I haven’t found an all vegan restaurant anywhere on the whole coast line of Belgium (probably because this is the provence with the most animal farmers).
I hadn’t eaten a vegan Hete Bliksem, last times I ate it was 4 years ago, pre vegan times. So was very happy to find this 😁😁😁 Ofcourse this is a very easy dish to make at home as well.
