VEGAN

Shroomee

There was not one oyster mushroom in the bag from Shroomee. Hence, the name only refers to the mushroom present, shimeji.

It was delicious. These #shimeji #mushrooms had alot of growing medium on them, which I did not mind. I minced the #mushrooms in my food processor and as always made #miyokos 'umbria tartufo sauce' from her 'the homemade vegan pantry' 📖. The last 2 📸 are from her recipe book.

I bought this 300g bag from Kokoro for R69.

jeanne-marie That doesn’t look like shimeji either, I think they got the entire name wrong 🫣2 likesReply
veronicagroen It looks and tasted like a brown mushroom, but it was still very good. Where I live, we only get white button mushrooms, so anything else is a real treat. 4 likesReply
