This dish was a dessert but could’ve been a whole meal in itself. Glad we shared lol 🤤 Let’s start with this: My picture doesn’t do this dish justice. It was true #PERFECTION 🤤🤤🤤
#Kaiserschmarren is basically a torn up thick #pancake 🥞 This perfect vegan Kaiserschmarren begins with a fluffy pancake-like batter made from a blend of flour, plant-based milk, and a touch of baking powder. It's cooked until golden brown and then torn into bite-sized pieces. Sweetened with a touch of #maplesyrup, it's flavored with #vanilla and a hint of lemon zest. There were also #raisins inside but you can order without! What made this a standout Kaiserschmarren was the fact that each piece was #caramelized! This made is crunchy outside and fluffy inside. Literally perfect. Served with a dusting of powdered sugar and a dollop of apple compote delightful, indulgent treat. #sweettooth

Usually you put it apart while it's still liquid. You have a much higher surface then, which makes it even more yummy 😋
