Review of Bao veggie at Verderamen by pattini

Verderamen offers ramen and other Japanese dishes with multiple vegan options. The place is small and busy, but you always get your food pretty quickly. I started my meal with this vegan bao: when you order it they always ask you if you are vegan because on the menu it’s marked as vegetarian, but they veganize it by not adding mayo. It’s filled with fried vegetables and the filling reminded me a lot of Indian bahji. I really liked this dish, it was super tasty and the fried vegetables were crispy and savory.
