Nasi Lemak Satay at Pinxin Vegan Cuisine — david's Review (Feb 22, 2024)

The #satay itself was nice! Made from Lion's mane mushrooms (Hericium erinaceus). #lionsmanemushroom The sauce was good but very oily and somehow didn’t taste like #peanut, despite there being obvious peanut pieces inside.

This is where the positive stops. The #rice was sticky and cold, the two pieces of #cucumber were laughable, the four slices of fried #tempeh didn’t make it better. Some #cashews and an incredibly salty #sambal completed the drama. The #papadam on top was not crispy anymore.

Honestly, I expected more from this popular place. Especially for RM21. #dobetter
