Murtabak at Vega cafe — K's Review (Feb 18, 2024)

Never heard of or tried murtabah before, but this is an absolute winner! Light flaky pastry with a filling of plant based meat in a uniquely spiced, creamy sauce. Menu says it has cheese but I’m not sure if I could taste any? Definitely wasn’t lacking flavour though. Delicious and filling. Nicely presented with a mountain of crispy kale leaves and sprouts on top, a colourful side salad, and cucumber relish. $23.90
