I never liked #unagi as a pre-vegan, no reason to start doing so now, I guess? 🤨 I'm also by the same measure not a good judge for the quality of the vegan version thereof 😅
Fwiw I didn't quite like this, it wasn't fishy like biological eel, but there was still a certain something that was very palpable 😐 The #seaweed layer on top can distract you for a period of time but eventually you have to face up to the weird taste.
Also I didn't like that it didn't come pre-sliced. It's hard to cut something up when it's frozen, so you by default end up cooking the whole thing and then keeping leftovers 🫤
