Vegan lemon and poppyseed cake at Djanogly Cafèfx.k's Review (Jan 17, 2024)

A sweet to go with coffee, it’s not overly sweet, and really quite moist on this occasion. In all enjoyable.

Tate Brit’s well worth the visit of course, and the cafe’s a nice, friendly place to rest and grab a quick bite and coffee in between galleries. They only a handful of vegan options, including the soup of the day(but do ask), a sandwich, and perhaps one main dish. One cake as well. Vegan dishes are labeled. Seasonal menu though, so worth checking with them.
Tate also has their own range of coffees carefully curated, which is worth looking exploring: single-origin coffees, and they focus on promoting gender equality and empowering coffee producers.
Simple comfortable area with plenty of seating, depending on when you’re there it might be quiet enough. Wheelchair access to cafe (more info on accessibility available on tate’s webpage).
