Review of Wunder Egg vegan hardboiled egg - Wunder egg by bandita

Tasting this on its own, it doesn’t taste exactly like egg, but when used in a recipe and mixing in seasonings that you normally would do with real egg, it’s pretty spot on. It comes with a little package of black Indian salt. Just sprinkle a little bit to give it an extra eggy flavor. A little goes a long way, so I think I’m actually going to have a little extra that I can add to my scrambled tofu next time. This is pretty pricey, considering that it’s only three servings, but just one of these little pieces adds a big punch of flavor to my otherwise boring salad. I imagine that this would also taste fantastic in a deviled egg sandwich. 

A lot of plastic packaging for such a small amount of food. I hope they eventually come up with a more environmentally-friendly package. In the meantime, I am saving the plastic package to use as a mold the next time I make my own deviled eggs. I already have two molds , but it’s not enough for when I want to make deviled eggs to bring to a potluck, so this extra mold that I now have will be perfect, plus add a slightly different shape, making my homemade deviled eggs look even more realistic. #veganegg
