I've been following these on ig for months after seeing a video review shared about

them, so when I saw them in the fridge at the sanctuary today I #freakedout! Someone brought them in from the states. Apparently they're $9 for the tray of 6, which isn't a #bargain BUT!! I think they're an independent company so hopefully when they're picked up more widely, the price will come down. Honestly, I think they're even worth the current price 😅 I haven't had a boiled egg in... I dunno, maybe 8 years? These are pretty #spoton for what I remember. They come with #blacksalt to sprinkle before you eat. The #veganyolk has the perfect #texture. The white was a bit wetter than it should be, but overall these were so perfect! Check them out on IG to see what people are doing with these. When I can get some, I'm going to devil the yolks and relive my childhood buffet days 😅😅 One of the other volunteers popped a whole one in his mouth and immediately said "that's a boiled egg!!" Like... they're not kidding around. There's no reason to farm chickens!!

Surprisingly goood! I never thought that I would eat hard boiled eggs ever again.

And when I found these eggs in my nearest Whole Foods store I was skeptical. However, after trying them, I was pleasantly surprised by how good they taste..

These come with the black salt packet and when you add the salt magic happens.

They are delicious! The ingredients are really healthy too. I’m addicted!

Tasting this on its own, it doesn’t taste exactly like egg, but when used in

a recipe and mixing in seasonings that you normally would do with real egg, it’s pretty spot on. It comes with a little package of black Indian salt. Just sprinkle a little bit to give it an extra eggy flavor. A little goes a long way, so I think I’m actually going to have a little extra that I can add to my scrambled tofu next time. This is pretty pricey, considering that it’s only three servings, but just one of these little pieces adds a big punch of flavor to my otherwise boring salad. I imagine that this would also taste fantastic in a deviled egg sandwich.

A lot of plastic packaging for such a small amount of food. I hope they eventually come up with a more environmentally-friendly package. In the meantime, I am saving the plastic package to use as a mold the next time I make my own deviled eggs. I already have two molds , but it’s not enough for when I want to make deviled eggs to bring to a potluck, so this extra mold that I now have will be perfect, plus add a slightly different shape, making my homemade deviled eggs look even more realistic. #veganegg

These are so amazingly like eggs! They are great in a vegan egg salad or

atop vegan ramen, and even by themselves! I highly recommend them!
