Review of Chow Mein (Mì Xào) at Van Hanh | Vegetarian Restaurant by knorthway
This was my first time eating at Van Hanh, an entirely vegan Asian-fusion restaurant located inside a 2-story house. I enjoyed this Chow Mein entree, which is listed on the menu as having “vegetables, tofu, and vegan meats”, so there was an element of mystery to it.
I think the other vegan meats were strips of tempeh but I’m not positive and didn’t inquire. The vegetables included broccoli, green beans, carrots, onions, and cabbage I believe.
My only constructive criticism would be that they consider using less single use plastic and paper plates for patrons who dine in. Decreasing waste should always be part of a vegan restaurants mission.
